Tujiamini Cheza Dimba is doing more than hosting tournaments — it’s transforming lives across Kenya. Over the weekend, Bungoma High School witnessed a new chapter in grassroots football as Tujiamini brought talent, opportunity, and hope to the Western region.

A wave of passion swept through Western Kenya this past weekend as Tujiamini Cheza Dimba lit up Bungoma High School with a massive grassroots football showcase. With roaring crowds, rising stars, and big dreams on the line, eight community teams — six male and two female — battled it out in the Tujiamini 2025 regional tournament, injecting both football excitement and local empowerment into the heart of Bungoma.

Kabrass Queens and Upendon FC Shine Bright

In the women’s final, Kabrass Queens emerged victorious after a tense 1-0 showdown against Kiman’get FC, earning a one-time Ksh 50,000 cash prize. Meanwhile, the spotlight was firmly on Upendon FC as they triumphed over Nakarila FC, winning a coveted three-year SportPesa sponsorship worth Ksh 250,000 annually and a complete set of home and away kits.

“Tujiamini has not only supported football talent for ladies but also boosted their confidence,” shared Enos, team manager of Greenblades Spass, who attended alongside Rockstar FC to cheer on the next generation of champions.

From Bungoma to Bigger football leagues

With an impressive Ksh 30 million set aside for 2025, the Tujiamini initiative isn’t just hosting tournaments — it’s building futures. Past winners have already climbed into national leagues, proving the program’s long-term value.

“Tujiamini is not just about football — it’s about belief, growth, and opportunity,” said Debrah Maina, Public Relations Executive at SportPesa.
“We’ve seen teams rise, players grow, and communities come together through sport.”
